Ice climbing

Ice grading system

My first climbing experiences were on frozen waterfalls and this was love at first sight...

At the beginning I climbed only in Slovenia and then I looked for new climbing areas in Europe.
So on this way I discovered high mountain climbing, first Ararat (5165 m), Mont Blanc (4807 m) and finally Andes in South America.

I visited few times South America...

... and to continue climbing in the beautiful Cordillera Real on 1997 I decided to stay in Bolivia, choosing to live in La Paz which is the highest capital of the world.

During these last years I specialized myself on ice climbing.

In 1998 I climbed a new frozen waterfall "La Amistad" (Friendship) which is the most difficult one in Bolivia.

In 2003 I climbed new route on Ilusión, Cordillera Real, Bolivia with Andrej Pecjak
